In order for any living organism to function normally and be healthy it needs to contain a slightly alkaline environment.
The alkaline environment keeps the chemical reactions and processes within the cells, them and thus ensuring that the bacteria, that is healthy and beneficial can function efficiently. A body with high level of acidity the body is unable to function properly. The pH level balance is an crucial part of the overall body health. It’s an urgent matter not meant to be overlooked. It can cause death, even.
When the pH levels in your body are low, you become exposed and vulnerable, as well as very susceptible to many diseases:
- Kidney and bladder problems, such as kidney stones
- Slow irregular digestion and elimination
- Slow metabolism causing obesity, diabetes etc.
- Fungal/yeast overgrowth
- Chronic inflammation
- Osteoporosis, weak bones, bone fractures and spurs
- Pain in the muscles, joint and a buildup of lactic-acid
- Premature aging
- Chronic fatigue
- Very little energy
- Mood swings
Low pH levels is caused by drugs, medications and other toxic chemicals. When the pH levels in the body fall below a coefficient of 6.4 the functioning of the essential enzymes is blocked, and the food supplements, minerals and vitamins cannot carry out their functions and causes indigestion. All acids have a property of reducing the ability of the body to detoxify heavy metals, to produce energy in the cells and fix damaged cells, which can lead to fatigue and various illness.
While bacteria, viruses, yeast, mold, fungus, cancer cells and candida flourish in acidic, as well as in a low oxygen environment, low pH, they are not able to survive in an alkaline environment. This can be the result from a toxic overload, an acidic diet, immune response that eliminates cells of oxygen and nutrients or emotional stress.
In our bodies there are alkaline (mineral) reserves such as sodium in the stomach and calcium in the bones, and for it to function normally, our bodies use these reserves. Exhausting these reserves form the bones and the stomach can cause osteoporosis and many other diseases. Moreover, when there is mineral deficiency in the body, acid accumulates and problems such as MS, arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus and pain arise. In an alkaline-rich environment cancer cannot exist. This is the reason why cancer cells are unable to affect the heart, as the blood is always flowing to it directly from the lung cells. This blood, that goes directly from the lung cells and into the heart, has the highest pH level in the whole body. The blood fills the lung cells with oxygen and blood with high pH, thus removing acidic toxins.
With no oxygen, glucose ferments into lactic acid. Thus resulting in low pH levels in body cells. Patients with terminal cancer always have pH coefficient ranging from 4.0 to 5.5 in the urine and saliva. When the cancer metastasizes, the pH levels in the body falls even lower than before. In 1964, Morishita Keiichi stated that nowadays, out of 214 people at least one gets cancer, 1 in 3 females and 1 in 2 males. This is partly because of low pH levels.
How to measure your pH level
This can be easily done in the comfort of your home. Just buy a pH testing strips package and you can measure the levels easily throughout the day. It is highly recommended to do so when you wake up, because in the mornings the body is more acidic. The normal coefficient of the saliva and the urine ranges between 6.5 and 7.5. 2 hours after eating a meal, measure your saliva pH level again. All you need to do is concentrate your mouth with saliva and swallow it. To get a cleaner saliva, do this twice, and then place a bit of saliva on a pH testing strip.
Moreover you should try to pick up healthier habits for your lifestyle, and avoid stress since it also alters your pH level. Make sure to drink large amounts of water, eat healthy foods and practice deep-breathing in order to help lower the acidic environment within your body.
